We are pleased to announce that Anish Dwivedi is joining the leadership team as the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO).
Anish Dwivedi is a highly respected national public affairs professional with over 15 years of senior public service and private sector experience. He joins GUS Canada from the office of Ontario Premier Doug Ford, where he served as Special Advisor to the Premier on Intergovernmental Affairs & Protocol for the last five years. Previously, Anish served as Director of Strategic Planning and Events in the office of British Columbia Premier Christy Clark and as Special Advisor to former Immigration Minister Monte Solberg.
Throughout his career, Anish has worked directly with Prime Ministers, Members of Parliament, Mayors, community leaders, diplomats and US Governors. He excels in fast-paced, high-stakes environments that require critical thinking and complex forward planning, preparation and execution. Anish possesses a proven ability to navigate complicated issues through federal, provincial, municipal and First Nations levels of government.
As Chief Strategy Officer, Anish will lead GUS Canada’s strategic planning and implementation efforts, with a focus on strengthening relationships with Canada’s federal and provincial governments. Based in Toronto, he will collaborate with all GUS Canada institutions. His extensive experience and network will be tremendous assets to GUS Canada as we continue to strengthen our reputation as one of Canada’s top providers of higher education.
