GUS Canada and its institutions are implementing modifications to program delivery for the start of the upcoming Winter 2022 terms due to current COVID-19 trends and the uncertainty around the rise of the Omicron variant.
In light of the recent surge in COVID-19 cases and concerns raised by students and faculty, the decision was made that all classes will be online until the end of January.
“The rapid rise in COVID-19 cases in Canada is very concerning,” said GUS Canada CEO Cyndi McLeod. “We felt that moving all classes online until the end of January was the best way to help keep our communities safe and do our part to help stem the spread of COVID-19 in our country.”
Our teams will continue to monitor the situation and announcements from Provincial Health Officers and will make a decision on a possible return to in-person learning later in January.
