GUS Canada enjoyed three days of community engagement and strategic networking at the Calgary Stampede.

Cyndi McLeod, CEO of GUS Canada, was joined by members of the GUS Canada and University Canada West executive teams to participate in several events, including Alberta Premier Danielle Smith’s second annual Premier’s breakfast.

Every year, the Calgary Stampede draws a crowd of over a million attendees. The 10-day event is among the largest festivals in Canada, attracting visitors from around the world and making the event a hub for politicians and high-profile industry leaders eager to better understand the cultural nuances and specific needs of the Canadian market.

Cyndi McLeod said: “Attending this year’s Calgary Stampede offered an excellent opportunity for our team to build strategic partnerships and engage in meaningful conversations with key policymakers. These interactions are essential to shaping the future of Canada’s policies and advancing GUS Canada’s growth as a leader in the Canadian higher education sector.”
